Assistance
Information regarding funerals or deceased enquiries are welcomed during office hours. Location maps are provided and wherever possible staff members are available to assist in locating memorials or graves. Appointments to locate and mark graves at outlying or unmanned cemeteries may require 5 working days.

Grounds staff are happy to assist with general enquiries, though formal identification enquiries should be made at the Wollongong City Memorial Gardens office.

Visitors
Speed Limits - visitors to graves, memorial sites or funeral services are requested to abide by posted speed limits of 15kph and to be careful of pedestrians.

Rubbish disposal – visitors are requested to use bins provided for rubbish or dead flowers.

Vases – spiked plastic vases are available for visitor’s use for placement of floral tributes

Unfortunately, not everyone who visits the Gardens or Cemeteries considers them to be sacred. From time to time thieves can target our grounds and theft from vehicles has occurred. For your protection lock your cars and keep valuables out of sight.
