Superbly landscaped gardens and panoramic views of the nearby Illawarra escarpment are part of the charm of the Wollongong Memorial Gardens. Established in August 1959 by Wollongong City Council, the colourful and spacious gardens are a serene, tranquil place for those people preferring the option of cremation.

Wollongong Memorial Gardens provides dignified and serene facilities for the final service for your loved one in either of our two chapels.
The Family Chapel seats 60 people and provides an intimate atmosphere for smaller service. The Main Chapel has a seating capacity of 180 people, with standing room for an additional 100 people.
Both chapels are tastefully decorated with stained glass murals over the catafalques. Our chapels have full audio visual and recording facilities, with plasma screens in both chapels.
